How long have you been in business?
We have been in business for five years. Chistell Publishing started in Bucks
County, Pennsylvania June 1998.
Where can your books be ordered offline?
Our books can be ordered at any bookstore as our books are carried by the major
book distributors and wholesalers. Any library or bookstore in the world can order
our books. If you don't see Long Walk Up (NEW BOOK), Portia, Love Has Many Faces or Spiral on the shelf at the bookstore where you shop, simply ask the clerk to order
it for you. Thank you!
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover cards.
If you don't accept credit cards, how can I purchase your books with a credit
card?
We do accept credit cards. However, you may also order our titles by credit card
or Visa Check/Visa Debit card at: Cushcity.com, Amazon.com, Borders.com, BarnesandNoble.com
or PayPal.
How long does it take to receive a book from you once an order is placed?
We ship all of our book via Priority Mail. We ship international orders via book
rate or Worldwide Priority Mail with the United States Postal Service. It takes
an average of 1-3 days to receive our titles once your order has been received.
Is there a way I can have the author autograph a book to a particular person
and include a special inscription?
Yes. Simply Email our Customer Service Department with your name, the date you placed your order
and the name you would like the author to autograph the book to (remember to give
the title of the book) and the special inscription you would like the author to
make out to the person.
Do you gift wrap your books?
Yes. We gift wrap upon request. When placing your order online include a special
note on our online order form requesting that the book (remember to give the title
of the book in case you are ordering more than one title) be gift wrapped. Also
include the occasion for the gift wrapping.
What is the next book you will publish and when will it be available for purchase?
Spiral is our latest title. Spiral is out NOW! Please ask your bookseller to
carry SPIRAL! Thank you!
I'm a member of a book club. How can my book club get copies of your books?
If you are a member of a book club, Email our Customer Service Department with the name of your book club, how many members
are in the club and how many books you would like to order. We are more than willing
to work with book clubs to get them a special discount depending on the number
of books they order.
I would like to have the author speak at an event I am organizing. How can I
contact the author to check her availability?
Email us with your contact information, the location, date, time and title of the
event and we will get the information to the author for you. The author will then
contact you as soon as possible.
Do you edit manuscripts?
No, we do not. We suggest our visitors and our customers who are interested in
having their work edited, refer to the Literary Market Place (LMP) which is in
the Reference Section of most libraries. LMP list credible editors, agents, publicists
and more. You can also request our Free writing tips sheet - see details on the
main page of our website.
Do you publish work by other writers?
We hope to do so in the future. Currently, we do purchase poetry for publication
in our monthly ezine, The Book Lover's Haven. We pay $50.00 to publish a poem
once (one-time rights) in our newsletter. We also have an annual writing contest
which we are thinking of turning into a semi-annual writing contest. There is
no reading fee to enter our contest. To request more information about our Annual

in the subject line of your email and we will send you this year's contest guidelines.
Is the cost of shipping included in the cost of your books?
We never include the cost of shipping in our books. We always pay to ship our
books, Portia, Love Has Many Faces and Spiral (out NOW!) to our customers. We
pick up that costs for our customers.
How safe is it ordering from you online?
We take extra precautions to insure the privacy of our customers. We absolutely
never sell our customers' email or snail mail addresses. All orders sent to our
offline office in Bensalem, Pennsylvania are handled in-house. We use a secure
server to process our online mail orders. When we deliver online credit card,
check and debit card purchasing to our customers, we will work through the Internet's
#1 online Credit Card Processor. We believe in our customers privacy and online
shopping safety. It will never become second place on our list of business priorities.
